As I promised in the last article I will show you today how the car really looks like when it's home. I made a request to the seller that I will take it, but with another hood. Finally we made an agreement that he will repair it and I was really surprised how good the job was done! Except the color (which gives the car another spirit too) it's almost impossible to find out how that there was a hole before. Just look at those photos and try to find it.
On the other hand the car needs some additional care to be in perfect condition. A very good point is that the engine is renovated what was verified with a test drive (a video is forthcoming).
I agree about some cables/pipes mess or disorder but this cannot involve the power and freshness of the engine for sure. On the other hand there were found some issues such as ignitions cables roasting to exhaust header or radiator's outlet coolant leakage.
The interior is not too good because the previous owner had to be crazy or fulvous. Everything possible is plastered with blue carpets (yes, blue) and other things are solved provisionally. Looks like long hard road is waiting for me, but I like these competitions, let's see...
