A smaller task awaited me last week. So I said, what about repairing one small jewel which left for me the previous car owner (let's say "a pig"). I decided myself to remove a chamois leather from originally beautiful doors arm rests. They looked like follows before the refurbishment:
For the first I needed to remove the chamois. After that, a brute force came to a consideration. I used products of the Weicon company. I had many experiences with theirs products many years ago when I was enjoying renovation of legendary Czech motorbike Jawa 50, type 23 Mustang (inspiration gallery). Let's hope its actual owner is its best refurbisher could be ever found. You can check the progress down there:
On the images I'm just clearing the driver's side arm rest. Those were unfortunately affected twice - not even with chamious orgy but also with black spay of Tesco brand.
After final service and washing look the arm rest again like brand new or a genuine GM product :-) I hope that I will have the same success with the another one.
As a bonus enjoy the place where these kind of stuff really belongs to ;-)
